The Hallway
In the hallway people are always rude
They push and shout and scream all about
They step on your shoe and act like a prude
They expect you to listen when they’re in a bout
They eat in the hallway and leave behind wrappers
They spit on the ground and chew gum all the time
They’re loud and they talk about their favorite rappers
They glare and stare like they have limes in their mouth
I need to know the answer before it is too late
I could jostle back like what others do to me
One day I will know, for it is my fate
Or I could start a food fight and throw some peas
I will tell people to back away from me
Or they will end with a lot of bees
